This kit will provide full hot and full cold air in your system. But due to the differing speed of the extra low torque motor, the in between temperatures are not accurate at times. After all this time we have only had 2 complaints and they both recently came up. The two complaints were fully resolved by replacing the extra low torque motor with the factory motor. This kit is to salvage a blend door that is broken in multiple pieces or otherwise completely destroyed.

This kit includes a new extra low torque blend door motor (also called a heater door actuator, air mix door actuator, stepper motor, or gearbox) with the new gear pre-installed. This kit is the same as the regular heater fix kit but it saves time and effort because you do not need to perform the gear swap. And you get a brand new OEM motor setup for extra low torque. You don't even have to remove the heater box from the vehicle!

These models have a faulty door for the heater/AC on the driver's side. After time, the door breaks down causing the heater/AC to blow only hot air or only cold air on the driver’s side, without the ability to switch back and forth as it should (on dual temperature control systems). On single temperature control systems, it affects the driver and passenger sides. Before this kit, the only real "repair" was to use the same faulty parts to replace the entire heater box at a cost of up to $3000 or more. This kit includes EVERYTHING you need to repair your heater box in vehicle without removing the heater box! No 3D printed parts. Repair insert and gear are precision injection molded using high strength nylon 6/6. This is a permanent repair! 

Do I need an extra low torque blend door motor? Probably not. If your heater box has suffered a lot of damage from other repair attempts, then the lower torque motor can ease your mind. This would include big pieces of the blend door missing completely or if the closed end of the bore has had the entire bottom drilled out. The Rogue Heater/AC Fix repair is very strong and has been thoroughly tested at more than 171,000 cycles with no signs of fatigue, on a very damaged blend door. That is an estimated 50 years of driving. In virtually all cases the extra low torque motor is not necessary. Contact support for any questions. 

Warranty: The gear and insert come with a lifetime no fault warranty. Simply return the part(s) that were damaged for any reason to exchange for a new replacement.
