These models have a faulty door for the heater/AC on the driver's side. After time, the door breaks down causing the heater/AC to blow only hot air or only cold air on the driver’s side, without the ability to switch back and forth as it should. On some models it affects the driver and passenger sides. Before this kit, the only repair was to replace the entire heater box at a cost of up to $2,800 or more. This kit includes everything you need to repair your heater box in vehicle without removing the heater box! No 3D printed parts. Repair insert and gear are precision injection molded using high strength nylon 6/6. This is a permanent repair!

This kit includes a new blend door motor (also called a heater door actuator, air mix door actuator, stepper motor, or gearbox) with the new gear pre-installed. Replacing the gear in your original blend door motor takes a little mechanical effort. This kit just makes your install a little easier and you also get a new motor with it!
