These models have a faulty door for the heater/AC on the driver's side. After time, the door breaks down causing the heater/AC to blow only hot air or only cold air on the driver’s side, without the ability to switch back and forth as it should (on dual temperature control systems). On single temperature control systems, it affects the driver and passenger sides. Before this kit, the only real "repair" was to use the same faulty parts to replace the entire heater box at a cost of up to $3000 or more. This kit includes everything you need to repair your heater box in vehicle without removing the heater box! No 3D printed parts. Repair insert and gear are precision injection molded using high strength nylon 6/6. This is a permanent repair!
